In this article, Zinser offers the
pros & cons of The Daily Show, a comedy news broadcast. Zinser then
suggests, "whether or not the fake news is, on the whole, beneficial or damaging
to society." He mentions two cons to "fake" news such as;
deception and dilution and how it is sometimes misleading. Zinser refers to
Matthew Baum who says that the good thing about “fake” news is that this form
actually attracts a portion of a population. But also states, “it’s not just
about the content, but the quality of the information.”
